xkcd Wikipedia Steps to Philosophy: Statistics

Counts of terminating versus looping pages

Currently, out of all pages in the terminating-in-philosophy and infinitely-looping statistics tables, the number of pages whose most recent entry (note that it is only most recent, which might not be very recent at all) is in one or other of the tables is as follows:

Terminating in philosophy:7692
Looping infinitely:387

Based on these values, approximately 95.21% of Wikipedia pages terminate in the Philosophy article according to this algorithm.

Index of tables

Whilst the full tables are very large, the advantage of them is that you can (if Javascript is enabled in your browser) sort all of the data at once by different columns. The statistics are by default sorted by the "Most recent" column.
