By registering on this board, you accept these three basic rules:
- Behave reasonably and respectfully.
- You are free to edit and delete your posts for reasonable purposes (e.g., "Whoops, I got a little carried away there - better remove that post, which reflects badly on me") but unless you have a good reason in the judgement of the board administrator, you may not delete large swathes of your posts from threads. This rule is due to my experience on other boards in which members from time to time "rage quit" or otherwise in a fit of pique/emotion choose to delete masses of their posts from the board as they leave, rendering the conversations in those threads broken and unreadable. For this reason, and this reason alone: by registering, you grant the administrator of this board an irrevocable right to display your posts in their original form in their original location on this board (and nowhere else) - and so: expect your posts to be restored if you mass-delete in a rage quit and the administrator deems that your deletions have ruined the integrity of the threads in which they occurred. That said, if you do have a good reason, mass-deletions will be permitted - just talk to me about it first.
- This is a private board, and the final say on any board-related matter, including bannings, lies with its administrator. That said, I try to be reasonable and tolerant, so unless you go out of your way to make trouble, you should be fine here.
